Anthony R. Geraci is an American blues and jazz pianist, organist, singer and composer.

 

He is a two-time Blues Music Award winner (BMA's) Instrumentalist-Piano/ Pinetop Perkins Piano Award. He has 17 personal Blues Music Awards and over 40 BMA's with other artists such as Ronnie Earl & The Broadcasters (original member), Sugar Ray and the Bluetones (original member), Monster Mike Welch, Mike Leadbetter and the Proven Ones.

 

In a career spanning over 40 years, Geraci has shared the stage with legendary musicians such as Muddy Waters, B.B. King, Otis Rush, Chuck Berry and Big Mama Thornton. He has made numerous recordings with top-class artists such as Kenny Neal, Odetta, Big Walter Horton, John Primer, Bob Corritore, Tas Cru, Debbie Davis, Radio Kings, Duke Robillard and the Pleasure Kings, Otis Grand and many more.

 

The album Super Harps (1999) (Telarc) was nominated for a Grammy. He has played alongside James Cotton, Charle Musselwhite, Billy Branch and Sugar Ray Norcia.

His critically acclaimed 2015 release "Fifty Shades of Blues" (Delta Groove Records) received multiple Blues Music Award nominations (Best Song, Best Album and Best Traditional Blues Album). It was ranked as one of the 50 best blues recordings of 2015 by Living Blues Magazine and received a 4-star rating in Downbeat Magazine.

 

In 2019, "Why Did You Have To Go" (Shining Stone) received nominations for the Blues Music Award in the categories Album of the Year, Traditional Album of the Year, Song of the Year (Angelina, Angelina), as well as individual nominations: Pinetop Perkins Piano Award, an unprecedented six personal nominations!

 

In 2021, Anthony won the Instrumentalist Piano Blues Music Award. He won the award again in 2023.

 

"Tears In My Eyes", the brand new album from the two-time Blues Music Award winner, follows his highly acclaimed first release on Blue Heart Records, "Blues Called My Name", which debuted at #1 on the Living Blues Radio Charts.

 

In total, Anthony Geraci has released 9 albums to date.
