Rory Gallagher, the Irish guitarist, singer and songwriter, has found fans all over the world who continue to be inspired by his likeable nature and skill.

His musical influence spans generations - from Slash to Johnny Marr, from The Edge of U2 to Brian May of Queen and James Dean Bradfield of The Manics - every aspiring musician he has met has inevitably been inspired or changed.

 

His magnificent Rockpalast concert on WDR in 1977 is unforgettable, and the DVD 'Rory Gallagher at Rockpalast' has sold over 56,000 copies.

 

30 years have passed and the fascination with Rory Gallagher grows stronger every year thanks to the power of the internet and social media. The legacy of the Irish guitar star continues to grow.

 

Rory Gallagher's 30th anniversary concert revives the feeling of this Irish blues rock great with HOLY JAMA LLAMA - EUROPE'S NO. 1 JAM BAND!

Rory's great friend, Irish blues rock legend Eamonn McCormack, mastermind, guitarist and singer (toured and was in the studio with everyone from Rory Gallagher, Johnny Winter and George Thorogood to ZZ Top, Popa Chubby and Walter Trout, rocked the legendary WDR Rockpalst with Lynyrd Skynyrd, Kenny Wayne Shepherd and Kris Barras) has joined forces with Darrin Mooney (Gary Moore), drummer bassist Johnny Griparic (Slash) to form a great rhythm section. Introducing the YOUNG WILD OF BLUES:

 

Dyer Davis is an absolutely exceptional artist! The American singer and guitarist released his magnificent debut album on Wild Roots Records in 2023.

 

He has spent the last eight years of his young life as a rock musician and recently split from the band Rubber Soul Child to finally hit the ground running again!

 

Now, at 23, he's returned to the music that first inspired him to become a musician - and that's a damn good thing! Thanks to his father, also a musician, he discovered the music of the 60s and 70s as a child - a passion that never left him! The artists that inspired him the most were the incredible blues-based rockers, especially the early Jeff Beck records with Rod Stewart - simply fantastic!

 

This realization was key for him, as it made him understand the immense importance of the blues as the main foundation for the music he was drawn to. Blues, rock and soul are the pillars of his music, with which Dyer Davis appeals to both the “old” and the new generation of blues.

Austin-based blues musician Lara Price has been releasing music since 2000. Lara Price covers a variety of genres - including blues, soul and Americana. Lara's career includes tours throughout the United States and China, several bands, a DVD and 7 CDs that Lara Price has produced, co-written and played multiple instruments on. Her CD, “I Mean Business” was produced by the Vizztone Label Group and earned Lara Price a nomination for Best Soul/Blues Female Artist for 2017 by the Blues Foundation. Her eighth album Half & Half was released in April 2024 on Gulf Coast Records and is her first on the Mike Zito label.

 

“Lara Price has been a fantastic artist for years,” says Mike Zito (Gulf Coast Records). “She is so deserving of finding a national audience. Her voice is soulful and powerful and I expect our fans to fall in love with her.”

From the moment they were formed, Mojo Man have been making some serious waves. They received rave reviews for both their debut album from 2015 and their impressive live performances, e.g. at Blues Peer, Park Pop, Ribs & Blues, Rhythm & Blues Night, Groningen and several Dutch radio shows, including the renowned Radio 2 program 'Spijkers Met Koppen'.

 

Shortly after recording their unreleased second album in 2017, the band disbanded. Mojo Man is now rising from the dead with a brand new studio album.

 

With a new rhythm section and an additional Hammond player to complete their Balls and Horns formula.

 

In many ways, this is a very personal album, says singer Marcel Duprix. I didn't have the best start in life. I was an addict as a teenager and I was homeless at the age of 22. But it's by no means a depressing album. When I was growing up, I listened to the bands of the 60s and 70s: Rolling Stones, Isley Brothers, Otis Redding, Led Zeppelin. This music got me through dark times. This album is a tribute and a thank you!

 

As Mojo Man prepares for the release of Love and Revolution, Happiness , Before We Forget and Seventeen are their first singles. It serves as a captivating preview of what fans can expect from the album.

 

Mojo Man is a 10-piece powerhouse blues, rock and soul revue that brings together the unmistakable sound of the Mojo Horns: Reinier Zervaas, Henk Brüggeman, Emiel van der Heide, Robin Bogert and Marco Muusz with the tried and tested rhythm section of Mark Eshuis, Dennis Hemstra, Patrick Cuyvers and Bas van der Wal, led by charismatic singer and guitarist Marcel Duprix.

A new band has appeared on the Spanish rock-blues horizon in 2022: MONTANA STOMP

 

Montana Stomp is a band made up of musicians from Aragon and Valencia. The band and frontwoman Susana Colt are on 70s territory and combine blues, hard rock and southern rock in an absolutely masterful way - an absolute delight!

 

Susana is a real talent that every promoter should keep in mind. Her voice is simply magnificent and

 

goes straight to the heart. She has Etta James tattooed on her hand, but she could also have the singer inside her.

 

So far the band has rocked some really great concerts, for example at the International Blues Festival in Cerdanyola, at the AldeaRock Festival, at the XXX Bourbon Festival Zaragoza (RocknBlues), in the Sala Wolf, in the Sala Nazca and at a few concerts abroad, such as the Stetson and Bourbon Festival and the Southern Rock and Blues Kolin in the Czech Republic.  Their eponymous album “Montana Stomp” (2022) was highly praised in the trade press and is a debut that will blow you away!

Anthony Geraci is an American blues and jazz pianist, organist, singer and composer.

 

The keyboardist, who has been active for more than 40 years, has played on stage with Muddy Waters, B.B. King, Otis Rush, Chuck Berry, Big Mama Thornton, Big Joe Turner and Jimmy Rogers. He has recorded with Big Walter Horton, Ronnie Earl, Big Jack Johnson, Zora Young, Sugaray Rayford, Debbie Davies and Kenny Neal. Geraci has not only collaborated with other musicians, but has also released eight albums under his own name.

 

He is an original member of Ronnie Earl & the Broadcasters and Sugar Ray & the Bluetones.

 

Geraci has performed at many festivals, including the Montreux Jazz Festival (Switzerland), the North Sea Jazz Festival (Netherlands) and the Montreal International Jazz Festival (Canada).

MIKE SPONZA

 

Mike Sponza is known for his unmistakable style, which combines blues, soul, rock and jazz. He has been on the European blues scene since the early 90s. Mike enjoys working with other musicians.

 

In his career he has already made music, tours and albums with Duke Robillard, Dana Gillespie, Georgie Fame, Lucky Peterson, Bob Margolin, Ian Siegal and Nico Wayne Toussaint. His 2018 album “Made In The Sixties” is the Italian bluesman's personal homage to the sixties.

 

It was co-written with the legendary, now deceased songwriter Pete Brown and produced at Abbey Road Studios. Mike Sponza is currently back in the studio to present two more albums this year. Mike Sponza is a highly talented musician who moves stylistically in many genres without losing sight of the blues.20
