Music Style: Modern Electric Blues
Blind Dog Mayer & Dr. Slide to collaborate again to thrill the blues fans at festivals and in the clubs.
Their new project called "TUFF ENUFF" is based on a title of the "Fabulous Thunderbirds" and symbolizes the excellent teamwork of Kim Wilson (harmonica) and Jimmy Vaughan (guitar). At the moment the two musicians are in the studio recording a new CD in the style of "Modern Electric Blues" to present it live in 2022.
We live in a world dominated by digital media. Music is digitally manipulated until it sounds supposedly "perfect". Everything human, corners and edges are polished away.
He lives for and through his music, plays with heart and soul, paints his life stories in his own true colors, with a voice that gets under your skin. The jaws drop when he plays on various guitars, self-made instruments and a square corner -Dobrosvirtuosos and sovereign, as if there was nothing easier in this world, plays behind the head, balances over table and chairs or simply walks through the rows to be very close to his audience. After several encores, Dr. Slide enchants his audience with a sense of renewed vitality, strength and bliss in this beautiful world.
